Exduro FRP Stands Support Desalination Plant Instrumentation
It was necessary to find a solution for the support and arrangement of the many instruments, gauges and displays that were essential for the complex reverse osmosis equipment when the Water Corporation of Western Australia was initiating the construction of the Southern Seawater Desalination Plant at Binningup
EXduro™, Treadwell’s versatile and comprehensive FRP Instrumentation and Cable Support System, was the perfect solution to the varied and complex requirements posed by the Binningup site. The FRP construction of the stands makes them extremely sturdy and corrosion resistant. Moreover, fibreglass offers electrical transparency and zero conductivity, which is beneficial or even necessary in chemical and electrical plants.
The different stand configurations were designed to support single, double or triple displays and/or controls. A broad selection of stand configurations including both square and round profiles were specified. The maintenance team at the Southern Seawater Desalination Plant can now look forward to a long and maintenance free service life of EXduro™.
