MoultrEX®
MoultrEX® fibreglass moultruded grating is the first open mesh grating to consolidate the high performance values of FRP moulded grating with the rewarding capabilities of pultrusion. This has been achieved through clever blend of pultrusions within the body of the products’ load bars and produces greater amounts of glass than previously seen. With the introduction of this revolutionary product, a new vista of grating products is now available to meet both the needs and demands of pedestrian, commercial and industrial applications.
Devised to be lighter than metal based alternatives, this remarkable hybrid of GratEX® moulded and GridEX® pultrusion systems offers excellent load bearing and durability characteristics, whilst maintaining strong resistance to the elements and corrosives.

Options for Moultrex® Surfaces
Anti-Slip Standard Surface - This surface is implemented vastly in the industrial applications. In accordance with the NATA laboratory test reports, the structure is hard wearing and has great coefficient of friction. Unlike serrated steel, this anti-slip surface does not affect load carrying capacity.
Concave Surface - This surface is ideal for environments where the by-products are captured often by serrations. Hence, it is quite often utilised in food industries. These surfaces are can also be fixed as a guarding option in order to enable safe handling or contact.
